Setting off every SATURDAY - Puerto Montt - Patagonia expedition on the C/S Atmosphere

The Chilean Patagonia offers their guests unique and changing landscapes. All of this in a 750 km2 region where you can find the best conditions for whale observation.

The cruise ship Atmosphere, 600 tons of gross tonnage, launched in October 2006, counts with 14 external cabins and host 28 passengers. The crew is composed of 32 people. Each one are highly qualified in their area and they work to make your stay on board and the development of this nature program at a very efficient level.

During the excursion, nature lovers and those convinced of the need to preserve it, will live the magical experience of an amazing whale-watch. These majestic,fascinating mammals that live in the most varied places are unique: more than 50 percent of known cetacean recognize Patagonia as their habitat.

In Chile, we have created the first and unique scientific whale obervation program directed and managed by a group of qualified guides, committed to protect and support the environment. In this context we have added technology, care and comfort. Also we offer chances of know details of other species such as Long-Phinned Pilot Whale, Chilean Dolphin or Pygmy Killer Whale.

The ship counts with 5 Jet Boats for 6 passengers and 1 for 10 passengers, one "Zodiac Hurricane" for 16 passengers, other 26 boats and carries a Bell helicopter for six passengers. The Atmosphere is equiped with the most modern systems and instruments that guarantee versatility and safety during the navigation.
